Meet Mama Wolf

Hi, I’m Luken, Mama Wolf’s firstborn, and I’m here to brag about my mom because she’d never do it herself. Her friends call her Julianna, you know her as Mama Wolf, but to me, she’s always been Mama. That’s us in the picture—me with my signature smirk and her hugging me like the amazing person she is. She’s the heart of Mama Wolf Cakery, and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

Growing up, every family gathering or birthday was made sweeter by her incredible desserts. My friends would always say, “Tell your mama to make those York Peppermint Patty Cookies again!” And parents couldn’t stop asking for her recipes.

I remember her first themed cake—a camping cake for my birthday party. It wasn’t perfect by her current standards, but it was unforgettable to me. It also shows how far she’s come.

That simple celebration cake sparked a passion that led her from enthusiastic home baker to an apprentice under a leading Nashville wedding cake designer named Vicki.

She refined fondant sculpting, perfected her buttercream roses, and eventually felt ready to share that artistry beyond family gatherings—so she launched Mama Wolf Cakery.

That’s why I’m so proud of her—and why Mama Wolf Cakery has become a place that truly reflects the creativity and care I’ve known my whole life. Whether she’s sculpting fondant flowers or whipping up classic cookies, my mom pours her heart into every recipe. And I think you’ll taste that heart in every bite.
